How to Play Hurdle
Hurdle combines the deduction of Wordle with the momentum of an Olympic hurdle sprint. Rather than playing isolated boards, your solved words become the clues that propel you through 5 consecutive stages.
1. Hurdles 1 to 4
Solve each 5-letter word in 6 guesses. When solved, that word becomes Guess #1 for the next hurdle.
2. The Grand Finale (Hurdle 5)
Your 4 previous winning words automatically fill rows 1-4. You have just 2 guesses left to finish the race!
3. Relay Clues
Carried-over words evaluate against the new target word immediately, giving you instant green and yellow clues.
Winning Tips for Hurdle
- Study the Carried-Over Clues: When your previous winning word transfers to the next hurdle, carefully note all newly revealed green and yellow tiles before making your second guess.
- Plan for the 5th Hurdle: In Hurdle 5, you will have 4 pre-filled words giving you a massive web of clues across almost 20 letters. Take your time to synthesize them all!
- Switch Between Modes: Hone your sprint skills in Unlimited mode before attempting today's Official Daily Hurdle.
