How to Play Knotwords
Knotwords is a fresh reimagining of crossword puzzles without definition trivia. The puzzle is divided into distinct color-coded clusters with assigned letter banks. Your objective is to place the letters so that every horizontal and vertical line forms a real English word.

Every line of contiguous letters across and down must spell a legitimate dictionary word simultaneously.

Pro Knotwords Strategies
- Track Vowel Placements: Every word across and down requires vowels. If a 4-letter word only intersects clusters with one vowel, that vowel is locked into position.
- Solve Small Clusters First: 2-cell dominoes have only two permutations. Solving them establishes anchor letters for larger surrounding shapes.
- Inspect Letter Frequencies: Notice if a cluster contains rare letters like
K,W, orMand check which crossing words can accommodate them.
