How to Play Tents and Trees
Tents and Trees is a peaceful yet challenging logic puzzle set in an outdoor campsite. Your objective is to place a tent next to every tree on the board while strictly observing camping proximity rules and outside tally numbers.
๐ฒ 1:1 Tree Pairing
Every tree must be adjacent (orthogonally) to its own unique tent.
๐ซ No Touching Tents
No tent may touch another tent horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
๐ข Row & Col Tallies
The numbers along the border indicate the exact count of tents in that line.
Tents & Trees Pro Strategies
- Zero Rows and Columns: Immediately fill all rows and columns with a tally of
0with grass (๐ฉ). No tents can exist there. - Surrounding Tents with Grass: Whenever you place a tent (โบ), immediately mark all 8 surrounding cells with grass, as no other tent can touch it.
- Isolated Trees: If a tree only has one open adjacent space, that space is guaranteed to be its tent!
